The multi-room NAP 6-50 provides six channels of Naim quality amplification for users installing multi-room systems. To integrate into such systems it provides a low power standby mode, control line input or signal sensing to ‘wake up’ out of standby mode, the ability to drive long and varied speaker cables, and electronically controlled fan cooling.
Each of the six power amplifier sections is a version of the new circuitry developed for the NAP500. Each two-channel zone uses a separate power supply with its own transformer winding.
The standby mode is designed to minimize power consumption while the fan control circuitry adjusts the fan speed to suit the demands placed upon the unit. |
